Set in Africa with no black major characters?

So, South Africa is mostly white? How does a movie set in Africa have so few black characters. I'm only 30 minutes in but if I'm not mistaken the only somewhat major black character was killed off in the first scene.

I'm gonna finish watching anyway. I just think that's weird. I don't like it.

Present-day South Africa was heavily colonized by the Europeans, mostly Dutch, long ago. In fact, Afrikaans, a dialect of Dutch, is widely spoken in the country.

Also, it's worth noting that in northern African countries (e.g. Libya), the population is mostly people of Middle Eastern descent.

Only reason I bought the blu-ray was that there is no major african characters. South Africa is pretty much built by white people if you didn't know that. Check other African countries. How is their level of economy, technology and well being? Still they would basically be living in huts unless the World wouldn't send hundreds of billions of dollars/euro each year to them. Basically to keep them alive and at least have basic infrastructure from this century.
