Even though it's early, but the update does say he will be Grimlock. So that's good news.

judging by the date of your post i imagine you now know he did come back. :)
i just played through a few of his levels and i gotta admit, if i didnt know it was him i woulda never recognized him, sounds nothing like the show even when in "dumb mode". and the voices for the other dinobots sooooo dont match. i understand they arent the "stupid kids" like the show and animated movie showed but they sound too normal for giant dinosaur robots if that makes sense. lol
but that aside, it was awesome to play as Grimlock especially in T-Rex mode.
Oh yeah that was a while back when I thought that Greg Berger cast posting was just Fanwankery by the moderators. But it was great we got another TF veteran actor back in the saddle. I liked how they made Grimlock like the Hulk in his gameplay. I only wish Greg put more familiarity in the role were it sounded a little bit like our old Grimlock.
And yeah I agree the other Dinobots voices didn't match in the game even though I miss the charming cavemanish mannerisms from the cartoon. Swoop sounded cool and stood out the most with his Brooklyn accent, the rest were so and so.
The worse renditions of the Transformers characters I thought were Shockwave who was very inaccurate, along with Rumble and Frenzy. They were the most underdeveloped portrayals of them all. I also hated how they made Bumblebee mute.
The Dinobots sounded like wank in the game, they sound so stupid with thos yankee accents, and Berger was the pits as Grimlock, I was expecting "Me Grimlock know Hotrod and Kup close!" not the pityful attempt that was in the game.
If I could return this piece of crap I would, it didn't even take a day to complete, Batman: Arkham City was far better and far long, only problem with it, it that it shared this games problem with garbage supporting voice actors, with the exception of Corey Burton as Hugo Strange...
