How is this still not on DVD?

When I saw this two years ago at the NYFF, it was a well-promoted film at the NYFF (it had like four clips in the trailer where most films only had one, for instance) and I know I wasn't the only one who loved it.

Over two years later, not only has it never gotten a theatrical release in the states, no one appears to have put this masterpiece on DVD either.

Anyone have more info on this film? Was it ever picked up for distribution?
