So, some regular woman can hang with the deadliest and most experienced spies/assassins in the world. Gawd, I just wanted her character to get shot to put her in her place.
And what is the deal with her dressing like a 15-year old? She is almost 50 for Pete's sake.
She ruined the movie for me, it's like they made her semi-handicapped for the sequel. As they told her to play the role as 13yr old girl with mental problems. It was very annoying.
I thought she was completely annoying in the film, and it was just stupid that she kept kissing guys like that. "I didn't wanna kill him!" So, she kissed him? Huh?
Agree. I'm about 45 minutes in and had to take a break. Nothing personal against M.L. Parker because she can only work with the script she's given, but this character could just as easily have been a spoiled six-year old child.
"You stay where it's safe so I can concentrate on my job." "No way. I'm going with you!" [stamps foot]
"You gave her a gun?!" [pow] "Oops."
"Don't look him in the eyes." [STARE]
Plus all the childish behavior when Catherine Zeta-Jones appears--pouting, slumping, inappropriate remarks announced in a stage whisper.
In the first movie, she was sort of a charming outsider juxtaposed against all the world-weary professional assassins. Who approved this character, er, development? Was there not another Fanning toddler waiting in the chute?
