Didn't the Nightshade devise have a 1 Megaton yield

I thought they mentioned this so in the time Hopkin's plane takes to fly before it detonates, it seemed to me a lot of people including the main characters were still in the blast radius.

Also did they say the Red Mercury bomb wouldn't produce an EMP (crippling electronics all over Europe) or fallout?

I loved the movie, characters and had a good time. Just nitpicking. Wow, two Hannibal Lectors shake hands!

I know what you mean, because we see the SPFX shot of the jet exploding in the background with the characters in the foreground. But there was an earlier brief kind of radar/map shot which I think was meant to establish the jet was well out over the ocean when it goes up.🐭
