I guess there must be something special about the nest of seven we don't know about yet. Although they already lost it... Those people who kidnapped Avram seem eager to explain the spiritual side to us anyway.
Come on people! Each person in the nest of seven has revealed part of the sequence. They need Jake and Amelia to complete it. Aster Corp is due to report a $40 Billion loss. The CEO is under the impression that the sequence will allow her and Aster Corp to predict the future. She would like to use it to place an enormous bet in the financial markets in order to eradicate the loss and make Aster Corp the most powerful Corporation in history, while achieving world wide fame for herself.
No, obviously, that's not up for dispute, but there is likely more to it then that or why would Avram have such a dirty look on his face when hearing the term "nest of seven"? I don't think a text in the Talmud is predicting Nicole Farington - or what her name is - becoming really famous and that just pisses Avram off. What is the deal with the people kidnapping Avram and communicating with him in religious riddles?
I think it will go back to what Calvin talked about in the first episode of the season, what with Aster Corp causing the end of the world or rather humanity if they succeed, and this is predicted in religious text with the nest of seven etc. There is probably some real boss above Nicole who wants to destroy the world.
First of all the question is about Aster Corp, not Avram. That being said, I said she is under the impression. That didn't mean she would or wouldn't get it and that would be the end of the story. There will be implications. People consumed with power usually do not err on the side of caution. They will probably be stopped right before they get the last digit. Who knows. It's just a guess.
Avram is a different story. Originally, I thought the folks at Aster Corp grabbed him. Actually, I think one of them is working undercover at Aster, hence the 53 connection from the last episode and the number on the room Avram was locked up in. Perhaps that is the arc into a potential Series 3, then again maybe not. The finale will offer some conclusion because a series renewal is not looking likely.
