Even at the start of the film, Raccoon was creepy and suspicious to me. I knew he was up to something.
shareIt was not a twist I think... it was slowly revealed throughout.. and I am curious to the backstory of it.

shareFilms are by their nature derivative, animated films even moreso. The fact this, too, "ripped off" other movies isn't entirely surprising. And at least this had the decency to relocate Over the Hedge's story from modern suburbia to a 1970s urban setting, giving it a little bit of originality and ensuring it isn't a direct copy, though I confess it does borrow/steal shamelessly.
I mean, really, how many times will you look under Jabba's manboobs?
