kit

Who is Kit supposed to be?

reply

She wasn't a real person. She's a fictional character.

I was going to ask if this was a fictional character....I never followed this case, this movie was pleasantly "Lifetime" I really didn't want to see a bunch of slayings etc, kind of disappointed too, just another Lifetime movie I guess.

reply

I think she was a "fake" character. I found her quite annoying.

reply

Yeah she was stupid.

I watched this earlier today and enjoyed yet another adaption of Richard Ramirez story told. the flashes between kit as curious teen watching any news about Richard and then her reporting as an adult. it all painted Kit as someone living out a school girl crush on the bad boy

Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today

reply

Love the actress...but Kit was a terrible character.

reply

I think Kit was an amalgam of all the Ramirez groupies. The ones that crushed on him and thought they could get inside his soul and turn his life around.

She was one of those whack-job women who are fascinated with serial killers: Both in her youth and in her adulthood she was attracted to guys who looked, and acted, like RR (remember when she stripped down to her skimpy lingerie in the motel room for the Hispanic guy on the balcony to see, let herself get "bondaged up" by the Hispanic guy she picked up on in the bar, went with Hispanic kid who stole her step-dad's car when she was young, etc., etc., etc.?). She lied about her job (law) to get to meet him, and most likely went into Journalism in the first place to do the same (talked her boss into letting her do a "story" about him). He told her right from the beginning that she was just one of many who was obsessed with him...and he was right.
