Rather than talking about all the flaws

Why don't you guys ever mention about the symbolism that this movie holds? Not everyone has rated Kahaani a 8 or 9 for its riveting plot; I loved how the whole Durga Puja festival was juxtaposed with her. Feminism ftw! :D

I also do not understand why so many people are being so fussy about plot holes. Sure the plot plays an important part of a film, but there are so many other things to be looked at. Cinematography for one. I have never been to Kolkata, and the way the film gets the city is far superior to the films shot in Mumbai or Delhi.

Looking closely, one can find flaws in everything. But on this board, 80% of the discussion has been about the assumed plot-holes. Some people are so good movie-buffs that they seem to have forgotten enjoying the movies.

What's wrong with pointing out plot holes? "Sure the plot plays an important part of a film"? An important part? A plot makes the film! Other things like cinematography, direction, costumes, etc. are what carry a plot. It's difficult to enjoy a movie that has a story that doesn't even follow logic.
