Sorry if this is a stupid question but I've seen this show twice and is this show for real or is it like a comedy show and the host is a character and it is kind of like a parody? I just don't really understand what is going on with this show.

Believe it or not, it's not a parody.
Greaseball Frank actually believe there are people in this world (other than his pathetic sycophants) who would want to spend time listening to his pathetic stories, watching his garbage movies, or watching him cook. He's a spoiled little wop brat whose mamma and pappa gave him everything in the world he ever wanted, but didn't give him a shred of decency or ethics (look up his rape case).
Oh, and he fancies himself quite the crooner. If you want a good laugh - and I mean the way you'd laugh at watching someone throw a firecracker at a monkey - go to Amazon.com, find one of his CD's, and have a listen to some of the samples.
