No involvement from college authorities

What strikes me odd is the total lack of involvement from college authorities in this show. Of course we live today in a totally scientific and technological world and environment. There is a sense of 'political correctness' that people shouldn't believe too overtly in ghosts or blame misfortune, ill luck, and accidents on the supernatural; after all, that's the dark superstitiousness that people lived under during the Medieval Ages. I can understand why college authorities would have to 'pretend' there is no such supernatural problem.

Still, it would have been wise to consult religious authorities for their opinions and course of action. The end result might have been a specially trained and experienced religious authority or priest dispatched to conduct a location blessing, or if necessary, an exorcism. Even before the advent of Christianity early peoples had to rely on shamans and their ilk to dispel spirit hauntings, whether of human or demonic origin. Sometimes, expelling such entities was not feasible and either some accommodation would have to be undertaken to mollify the troublesome entity.

IDK but I went to a college that was haunted and my dorm was the most frequented of the hauntings.

It was a college that was originally a boys only prep school for Lutheran seminary at the trurn of the century. The only buildings around at the time where this boy died was the center building (administration), the dorm hall to the right of the administration building, the dining hall at the back of the admin building and the gymnasium at the back of the dorm hall.

The mail room was located in the basement of the gym and this particular boy had worked there at the time of his death. One night in winter it was quite stormy out and he got out of work too late for the doors to be unlocked and he was locked out. He died outside frozen to death. His parents understood what had happened and had financed the underground tunnel between the gym and the dorm to be dug and built.

The school is now much larger but still quite miniscule compared to other colleges. The boys dorm is now a girls dorm and for the first 3 years I had lived there. The dorm is haunted, as well as the admin building.

My colleagues on the 3rd floor would hear scratching and tapping at their windows where there was NO trees remotely near the windows, I had the bedclothes around my knees tugged -- to the point of me seeing them being tugged, I had loaned a text book to my roommate one time and she had forgotten it in a second floor classroom one day (the admin building) and had immediately went back for it. It was gone. Months later ( and I do mean MONTHS) she was passing an empty classroom on the third floor and a book on the desk nearest to the door caught her eye... she went in and it was my book that she had forgotten and was *gone*. She never had any class in the room where it was found at that time.

Whenever someone asks the deans/administration/ important people about the incidents (there are 2 other ghostly beings) they have no comment. You speak to an alumni who either now works at the school or teaches there, have story after story... but they are all *off the record*

The admin I think know all about the happenings but refuse to believe or admit the happenings.
