Was Ben Gunn on the docks with a flat cap on?

I think it was when they were recruiting and a bunch of men were stood together with hats on.
It annoyed me a little on part 2, as he's meant to have been on the island for three years. I don't understand, was that not him or was it a flash-back?
Or did they mistakenly re-use Elijah Wood for another part?

Cheers.

I didn't see him there myself, but I very much doubt it was him. An actor of Elijah Wood's stature would not, I would have thought, be used as an extra, especially in a scene that he is in no way a part of.

That's what I thought. Unfortunately I had deleted the Sky recording, so I can't check for sure. It certainly looked like him.

I saw two Elijah Woods in this film - the first one, on Captain Flint's ship, looked just like Frodo Baggins, the second one, on the island, looked just like the Australian comedian Tim Minchin. I was convinced it was him until I heard Woods' American accent!

Hah, yeah I thought it was Tim Minchin on the island. I think they stole his eye makeup ideas and crazy hair, it certainly looked like him at first.
Thanks for spotting 'Frodo' on the ship, perhaps an actor pulled out and they decided his Ben Gunn looked different enough to give him another part.
Odd though, as he is well known.
