I will never get over it

I know this show wasn't particularly great. It was cheesy and soapy, but it was fun and the onscreen chemistry between SMG and Ioan Gruffudd was SO good! I will absolutely never get over how everything was left between the characters, and the immense lack of closure. Ever. It's completely gut wrenching.

Agree 100% it definitely had it's flaws, but no one can deny that is was super thrilling and exciting, and I think SMG both played and differenciated the both roles perfectly! My shows always gets cancelled, and I still think about them years after because they end with unresolved storylines!!

Sorry, an alternate viewpoint, from someone who really wanted to like this show. :(

Ugh, it's hard for me to say good things about this show. I so so so WANTED to LOVE it. The stars were amazing. They had a line up of amazing and talented actors. But the scriptwriters were the ones who doomed this show. Never have I seen such charisma and appeal from so many actors/actresses in one show .... that were just totally wasted by the scripts.

The hooks were 'kinda' good, but no one ever really delivered a truly satisfying moment, and that's the writer's fault. They never knew quite how to make their characters, despite having such stellar talent to work with.

The problem of trying to throw so many twists into the story is that you ultimately end up with NO likable characters. Or at least character you want to like, but who make evil, or stupid or selfish decisions that make you angry with them. The only truly sympathetic character (other than some of the supporting cast, like Malcolm) is Bridget and things cannot go well for her because of the big lie. She can never fully recover from that massive deception, thus she is doomed from the start.

I greatly admire Ioan Gruffudd. He's amazing, but his character Andrew was just so DENSE and he constantly made bad decisions or backed the 'wrong horse'. Sarah Michelle Gellar has the most amazing expressive eyes. When she seems disturbed or hurt, you can see it all in her face. it is truly haunting. But her amazing performance cannot support the show on it's own. There must be more.

Sadly I can see why they cancelled the show. It was really REALLY frustrating and it seems like the writers really had NO clear idea of where they were going with the series. Once they started making everyone either dead or depraved, then 'who do we root for any more?".

I'm both shocked and pissed off that the show was cancelled. What the hell is wrong with TV studios these days. I loved Bridget and Andrew. I know that their relationship was left open-ended and inconclusive for the second Season, but since the show was cancelled, where stuck with wondering what will happen.

I guess you can't really blame Andrew and Juliet for being shocked and angry about Bridget's deceit, regardless of her reasons. Especially Andrew. So much was dropped into his lap at once. All in the same day, he learns that Siobhan had been cheating on him with her best friend's husband (breaking his heart), that the woman he had believed to be his wife for the past 7 months was her sister, who had been lying to him, unintentionally putting his family in danger, and he had been basically sleeping and falling in love with a stranger, and that his real wife (who was supposedly pregnant) had committed suicide. And this is all after his ex had just tried to kill him and his family not too long ago. Of course he's going to feel upset, angry, hurt, betrayed. Juliet too, even after having things explained to them. They probably don't even know if they can trust her after so many lies, not to mention the bad light Bridget had been painted in. So yes, it's going to take some time to come to terms with everything and get over it.

All the same, I think everything would work out. Andrew and Juliet are upset now, but I think that once they calm down and think about it, they'll realize what the real Bridget is like and try and work things out with her. I can actually envision something along these lines happening with Season 2 had it not been cancelled. Andrew and Juliet would be on the plane. After a few hours, Juliet would probably bring up Bridget, and they would have a big in depth conversation about her, including all the ways Bridget helped them. It would probably end with Juliet admitting that she misses her, and Andrew would agree. And then when they land, Andrew would get a call from the police (probably Machado) about what happened back at his apartment between Bridget and Bodaway. This will scare them enough to go running back to check on Bridget. This is when Andrew would probably realize his true feelings for Bridget and want to work things out. However, it would be Siobhan that he and Juliet end up meeting. And since they both think that Siobhan is dead, she would then pretend to be Bridget in an reverse of what Season 2 had as she attempts to reclaim her old life.

As for Bridget, she wouldn't even know that Andrew and Juliet came back yet. She would probably be trying to figure out where Siobhan went and what she was doing. She would also probably learn about Malcolm's death (if he is indeed dead), and try and find out who killed him and why. It'll probably be Bodaway's men (or possibly a relative or business partner), and they would be after her as well, meaning she would need to remain in hiding. She would eventually find out about Siobhan's return, and possibly of her ill intentions towards Andrew and Juliet from before, and would try to help them without exposing herself to Bodaway's men, eventually leading to one big confrontation between the two sisters. I also think it'd be a good addition for Bridget to discover that she's pregnant with Andrew's child.

For and ending to the second Season, and the series, Bodaway's men are finally caught and his whole operation is finally stopped. Bridget for her assistance will either be granted immunity, or, with Machado's help out of gratitude for taking out Bodaway and his operation, evidence will be falsified to get Bridget's name cleared, allowing her to finally be with Andrew as herself with no more lies, free from her past and her sister.

As for Siobhan, I see 3 possible scenarios. The first is where she's somewhat redeemable. In this scenario, in a confrontation between the two sister, Siobhan will begin to see what a monster she's become. I could see a comment from Bridget really throwing her off. Something how Siobhan was never able to forgive Bridget for the part she played in Sean's death, while Bridget says that she forgives Siobhan for trying to kill her. This will eventually lead to Siobhan dying to trying to save Bridget from Bodaway's men. I doubt this one though, Siobhan is too heartless.

The second scenario is that Siobhan is killed by Bodaway's men thinking she's Bridget (an ironic twist to what Siobhan had intended for Bridget in Season 1). This will eventually allow the cops to trace the murder back to them, leading to their arrest.

The third is that Bodaway's men are still caught, but while Bridget has her name cleared, Siobhan does not. Andrew divorces her, and she is now wanted for attempted murder, theft, sabotaging evidence, and several other crimes she's committed. Her children are seized for custody (either by Andrew or the state), and she's left completely penniless, with no friends or family to turn to. She's either arrested, or goes on the run, and ends up even worse than Bridget was, a prostitute and a drunk/junkie while Bridget gets to live happily with Andrew and their new family as herself with no more lies or danger. I think this ending works best as it's in an ironic twist of fate where both Bridget and Siobhan end up trading lives again, but for real this time, and it was all caused by Siobhan's own cruel intentions.

The problem is ..... YOU'RE a better, more creative, writer than the SHOW's writers.... That's the problem. You're here. They're there. :(
