My thoughts for what Season 2 would have been like

Ok, so it's no surprise that a lot of people were pissed off that Ringer was canceled. I just watched it on NetFlix, and I'm pretty pissed off too. This was a great show that deserved a second Season, or at least a conclusive ending. So, this is what I think Season 2 would have been like.

We last left off with Andrew and Juliet going away for a while to get away from everything that happened. I guess you can't really blame them for being shocked and angry about Bridget's deceit, regardless of her reasons. Especially Andrew. So much was dropped into his lap at once. All in the same day, he learns that Siobhan had been cheating on him with her best friend's husband (breaking his heart), that the woman he had believed to be his wife for the past 7 months was her sister, who had been lying to him, unintentionally putting his family in danger, and he had been basically sleeping and falling in love with a stranger, and that his real wife (who was supposedly pregnant) had committed suicide. And this is all after his ex had just tried to kill him and his family not too long ago. Of course he's going to feel upset, angry, hurt, betrayed. Juliet too, even after having things explained to them. They probably don't even know if they can trust her after so many lies, not to mention the bad light Bridget had been painted in. So yes, it's going to take some time to come to terms with everything and get over it. All the same, I think everything would work out. Andrew and Juliet are upset now, but I think that once they calm down and think about it, they'll realize what the real Bridget is like and try and work things out with her. This is how I think Season 2 would start.

Andrew and Juliet would be on the plane. After a few hours, Juliet would probably bring up Bridget, and they would have a big in depth conversation about her, including all the ways Bridget helped them. It would probably end with Juliet admitting that she misses her, and Andrew would agree. And then when they land, Andrew would get a call from the police (probably Machado) about what happened back at his apartment between Bridget and Bodaway. This will scare them enough to go running back to check on Bridget. This is when Andrew would probably realize his true feelings for Bridget and want to work things out. However, it would be Siobhan that he and Juliet end up meeting. And since they both think that Siobhan is dead, she would then pretend to be Bridget in an reverse of what Season 1 had as she attempts to reclaim her old life.

As for Bridget, she wouldn't even know that Andrew and Juliet came back yet. She would probably be trying to figure out where Siobhan went and what she was doing with Soloman's help. She would also probably learn about Malcolm's death (if he is indeed dead), and try and find out who killed him and why. It'll probably be Bodaway's men (or possibly a relative or business partner), and they would be after her as well, meaning she would need to remain in hiding. She would eventually find out about Siobhan's return, and possibly of her ill intentions towards Andrew and Juliet from before, and would try to help them without exposing herself to Bodaway's men. I also think it'd be a good addition for Bridget to discover that she's pregnant with Andrew's child. Eventually, the two sisters would meet, leading to a big confrontation between them, Andrew, and Juliet. And since Siobhan gave birth to Andrew's daughters (are they though?), it would complicate things even further. Machado would also have found out everything at this point too and become Bridget's ally out of gratitude for killing Bodaway, and since he kind of owes her. Bridget's pregnancy would also make Siobhan hate her all the more and increase her desire to kill her. Of course, this is all just the basic premise, there'd be a lot of other things involved too.

For and ending to the second Season, and the series, Bodaway's men are finally caught and his whole operation is finally stopped. Bridget for her assistance will either be granted immunity, or, with Machado's help, evidence will be falsified to get Bridget's name cleared (the police department doesn't seem to care much in Season 1 anyway and just wanted it over with), allowing Bridget to finally be with Andrew as herself with no more lies, free from her past and her sister. Henry would probably get jail time the assisting Siobhan with her illegal activities and the assisted attempted murder of Bridget. Andrew's former shady business will be pinned on Olivia, who's already been arrested for her illegal business and attempts on Siobhan/Bridget's life with Arbogast helping to clear up any possible charges.

As for Siobhan, I see 3 possible scenarios. The first is where she's somewhat redeemable. In this scenario, in a confrontation between the two sister, Siobhan will begin to see what a monster she's become. I could see a comment from Bridget, Andrew, or Juliet really throwing her off about how Siobhan was never able to forgive Bridget for the part she played in Sean's death, while Bridget says that she forgives Siobhan for trying to kill her. This will eventually lead to Siobhan dying to trying to save Bridget from Bodaway's men. I doubt this scenario though since Siobhan is too heartless and such a comment would only serve to fuel her hatred. I don't see Siobhan redeemable, like at all.

The second scenario is that Siobhan is killed by Bodaway's men thinking she's Bridget (an ironic twist to what Siobhan had intended for Bridget in Season 1). This will eventually allow the cops to trace the murder back to them, leading to their arrest. Following would be how Bridget gets her name cleared and stuff like I said above.

The third is that Bodaway's men are still caught in an attempted murder, but while Bridget has her name cleared, Siobhan does not. Andrew divorces her, and she is now penniless and on the run, wanted for attempted murder, theft, sabotaging evidence, and several other crimes she's committed. Her children are seized for custody (either by Andrew or the state), and she's left completely broke and homeless, with no friends or family to turn to since she herself destroyed it all. She's either arrested, or goes on the run, and ends up even worse than Bridget was before the series started and ends up as a prostitute and a drunk/junkie while Bridget gets to live happily with Andrew and their new family as herself with no more lies or danger. I think this ending works best as it brings everything full circle in an ironic twist of fate where both Bridget and Siobhan end up trading lives again, but for real this time, and it was all caused by Siobhan's own cruel intentions.

Anyway, that's along the lines of what I think Season 2 would have been like if it hadn't been canceled. Can anyone else see this happening or like the idea? Which of the 3 (or 4 if you count her being arrested) ending for Siobhan do you think works best? Any thoughts?
