I LOVED DINOSAURS!!!!
Of course it didn't hurt that we were watching it with a ten y/o boy... However it was really adorable, kinda sophisticated humor, in a way, and I will buy the DVD for the little kids in the family, who will LOVE the Jim Henson puppetry/costumes, and any over-their- heads jokes will be ignored but appreciated by their parents.
It really was just a standard sitcom with unique, fresh, untried approach. My family appreciated it, and was heartbroken when it went away. Stuff with super high production costs tend to get the ax too soon, in spite of being good quality scripted projects; witness WITCHES OF EASTWICK. Beautifully produced, fantasy world stuff, scary and funny all at once. GONE! I really hope REVENGE doesn't get disappeared for the same reasons. I almost didn't watch Revenge due to the title, much like HATE/DAUGHTER... However I won't miss Daughter. I really only watched it cos it was stuck there between HOPE and NEW GIRL (which, to be honest took a couple episodes to sort of grow on me)...Plus, HATE/DAUGHTER did have Mark Consuelos, which don't hurt my feelings one bit!
