fox didn't even give it a chance

This show probably would have fared better on another network. I think it would have paired well with "Last Man Standing". I liked this show a lot, I thought it had it's own little charm about it, and it was getting increasingly better. Sad to hear it's been given the ax, but it really didn't fit in with Fox's other comedies.

I'm so disappointed. I really like this show.

FOX is stupid at times how they handle sitcoms. Its a good thing legendary sitcoms like Friends, Seinfield and Fraiser didn't air on FOX or they wouldn't even probably last a whole season. This show should at least been given a whole season or two. A lot of sitcoms that are worst than this have been given a chance to grow. I watch a lot sitcoms and I really enjoyed this show. I laughed at every episode. The last episode (literally now...lol) was hilarous. My only gripe with this show is the title. It should of been called "I Hate My Mom". The daughters were really cruel at times to the sexy moms. It was hilarous. I'm also watching "Breaking In". I know that will probably get cancelled as well sometime soon. After that, no more FOX sitcoms for me. Just the animated ones (American Dad and The Cleveland Show)....lol

Lol American Dad rules, but about this show the title in itself sounds kind of like other shows.. Since it has been cancelled im not gonna bother with episode 2, cuz i hate when things don't have an end to them.. Seinfeld was always great and Friends as well, i can't say the same about Fraiser but Seinfeld ruled from the very first episode. Simply hated the standups he did when i was young but as i grew older and understood the show perfectly i laughed my ASS off watching his "family entertaining standups"..

He has been known for being able to make jokes and standup without crude language.

This show im not gonna bother, Jaime is fine but i gave "Gary Unmarried" chance and it got axed. I have chosen the path that has worked well for me, i look up shows 3-4 years later and dig up gold.. Had NEVER seen Shield few years back and lucky for me i had 7 seasons of goodness to watch :D..

Don't get me wrong Seinfield first few eps/seasons were good but they were not getting great ratings. After the 3rd season Seinfield and Friends were kick butt. BUT, if those shows were released now, they would have been cancelled because major networks are not giving new shows a real chance to grow nowadays. A nice show on CBS called Mad Love was cancelled before it even got started. ABC gave Better Off Ted a full season but that's all.
This show should have been on a cable channel like FX, TBS or TNT. I really like IHMTD. Laughed at every episode. This show was exactly what I was expecting from a new show of Fox. It's a true shame that Jaime Pressley came back to tv (after she said she wouldn't after My Name is Earl was cancelled) just to be dissed like this. Soon I'll only be watching shows on NBC, A&E, AMC, TNT. Shows like Breakout Kings, Walking Dead, Pysch, The Closer, Burn Notice were given chances to grow after slow starts and they all are really good. FOX could learn something from those networks. I'm also mad with FOX for possibly cancelling Alcatraz.
Well like I said before, at least the didn't diss my favorite show American Dad.

And your last remark "possibly cancelling Alcatraz" is why I haven't began watching it. IF it gets to stay for 1-2 years i will watch it, if it gets cancelled i will not.

reply

Aw, it's cancelled already? I just started watching it. I did expect it because that's how Fox is, but not so soon :/

reply

Probably. Whitney is another brainless, laugh-tracked show, which has been given more of a chance than it ever deserved.

At least this one was mercifully put out of its misery.
