I just dont understand what the writers are thinking with this show? Mothers and daughters that HATE each other... A grown woman saying " I dont want to work, I dont want to be like those working mothers???? REALLY?
STUPID! I was so annoyed I stopped it at like 10 mins and then cancled my tivo to record the series... It needs to TANK and like now! They take off good shows and replace them with this bunk??

The writing and dialogue on this show are horrible as is the ridiculous and nearly constant laugh track. I'm guessing it will be off the air by mid January.
BTW My grandmother would say this show is sh-t.
I'm a grandmother. Yes the show is *beep* IMHO. My daughter liked the first episode. I haven't heard anything after that.

On IHMTD's homepage, as on every show and movie's IMDB homepage, it says Discuss I Hate My Teenage Daughter (2011) on the IMDb message boards. It does not say Rave about I Hate My Teenage Daughter on the fan boards.

Pride8, regardless of social reasons for the OP not to like the show, the show us utter crap. I've seen 3 full episodes of this trash. No sense of humor? I'd rather have none than yours if you can actually defend this garbage.

I watched a full episode and still found it full of old-school sexist crap. Pathetic scorned women fawning over their ex-husbands and other assorted men. The pathetic yet surprisingly attractive housewife. How original.

This will last for maybe 1/2 a season. The continuous canned laughter is extremely annoying...the lamest of lines get so over-the-top roars of laughter...painful.
I gave it a full episode, but it still wound up being 30 min of horrible.
