Would this be fun to watch on acid?

A bit late, so maybe you've already tried it. But in my opinion the pace of the conversation/animation is a bit too fast for it becoming a trip movie.

Yes, it definitely would. From the French accent of Gondry to the amazing illustrations of some fairly deep concepts from Chomsky (especially like thinking about the evolution of man and the role of language in that) it'd be a blast to watch on something like acid, and even things like misunderstanding in communications are an interesting phenomena - I would imagine at least by what someone I met told me - whilst tripping.
