A movie about the murder of Kitty Genovese

This is supposed to be a film about Catherine "Kitty" Genovese, the woman who was stabbed to death in March of 1964 in front of her apartment in Queens, NYC. It is stated that her neighbors did not bother to come to her aid because they did not want to get involved. This phenomenon came to be known as "Genovese syndrome" or "bystander effect," and was a topic for study in many psychology textbooks.

Charlotte Gainsbourg is rumored to star in the title role.

Yes, it's about the Genovese case, but no, Charlotte Gainsbourg reportedly plays the wife of one of the bystanders. I wonder why her name disappeared from the credits on IMDb. I wonder what role Nathalie plays. Doesn't matter; she's in it, I'm seeing it.

Her name may have been around because her husband plays the main character...

Or, perhaps it was produced by their production company? And now it turns out that Nathalie Baye isn't in the movie either!
