Lindsay is no longer on Glee because she is now on Broadway, which was ultimately her goal. What really upset me about season one was that Samuel and Damian won, yet they usually sat in the back of the choir room doing nothing. They wrote Damian's character out this year, and Samuel's is pretty much doing the same thing as last season: nothing.
I agree that Nellie would have been amazing for the part of Marley. I like the character, Marley, but not so sure about the actress that's playing her. I also agree that it's unfair that the Glee Project contenders sit around for weeks on the show...ultimately to leave with nothing. I agree with the suggestion that Blake would have been too old to be in high school, but I'm not sure about Brody, seeing as I like Dean Geyer. I really wanted to see Aylin on Glee, too. I feel that at least eight of the contenders from season two (didn't really watch season one) should have been on Glee.

I agree with everything you said...
incase you didn't know..since you didn't really watch Season 1, Alex Newell, who plays, Wade "Unique" Adams, was a runner up....he seems to have the biggest part so far, (and he is awesome, and was awesome on the GLP)
I heard that the 'Powers that Be' were really, really P.O'd at Ryan Murphy for essentially having 4 winners of Season 1, and told him in no uncertain terms..there is to be 1 winner and only one winner this time...like it takes something away from the winner if they have more than one. Maybe.. it definitely did set a precedant.
They had some AMAZING contestants... I still think Lindsay Pearce should of won.. but if she's on Broadway...then good for her.

I also think that Lindsay should have won Season 1 of the Glee Project. Alex has become an interesting character, but the two guys that won were boring on the Glee Project and were boring on Glee.
I don't share your love for Nellie, however. She had an amazing voice, but she just doesn't have the physical presence or acting ability of the girl who's been cast as Marley. Ultimately Glee needs actors who can sing, which is why Blake won Season 2 of the Glee Project.
