Wasn't as bad as critics are making it out to be...

...but still a fairly 'meh' film. Kind of forgettable. Sophie gave a good performance for those wondering but it's still something I'd recommend to wait for a rental.

Its pretty meh indeed and boring

I watched it from beginning to end and never got bored. It was an intriguing plot. I love Claire Forlani and well, you do have Geraldine Chaplin too, so it was a pretty well acted film. I like indie fare anyway and gave it a 9. I still say Sophie will have a BIG future.

It had a good cast and it doesn't look like a cheap "student" film or anything. But the plot is very cliche and to top it all off, the movie itself doesn't seem quite sure if it's trying to be a thriller or a psychological drama or some sort of horror... and you spend too much of the movie not even sure whether or not you're watching something supernatural or not. I assume that was the point, but the execution made it confusing and a tad annoying.

Elegant and ferocious neither good nor bad. Full of beautiful things. Unspeakable things

This movie was stupid...Babies are innocent and will surely go to Heaven. They don't come back as evil spirits!

'Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.'

Hahaha.

Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are.

Yeah it wasn't that bad. There were some typical cliches (like competition on acting in a play) and the storytelling lacked something, but the ending was strong and disturbing to me.

I am agree with some people here that some parts may feel slow but as someone said earlier it's intriguing plot and this alone make me stay and watching the movie from start to finish. Most than any I felt empathy to the main character and this's very important (Charismatic Turner have big part for that). Agree with you jlam888 about the strong and disturbing ending. they also choose spot on song after the last scene (You Haunt Me by Lisa Hannigan).

As a low budge horror movie it's not bad at all and better than most horror movies this year (2014).
