Great gag, plays into mistrust of govt etc

I laughed when I was watching it, it was so over the top that it had to be fake, even though it appeared to be on a science based channel instead of ScyFy etc. Then I realized how some would more easily suspend disbelief since it played on fears about the govt taking over websites, confiscating evidence, etc etc ad nauseum. It was very well done in that respect, ie, the writing was clever and it made use of social engineering to trick some into believing the content was real.
