Amazes me...


All the outrage directed at them for daring to make something so obviously untrue and none of it turns towards the parts that are true that really matter... the countless whales and other marine life killed because of sonar testing. The beached ones are just a tiny percentage of the casualties, but people are more concerned that the mermaids weren't pretty or real? Very disturbing. This wasn't all fake, people. And you can do something about the truth but you are too self absorbed to care. You see beached whales as something yucky messing up your pretty beach, not as publicly condoned mass murder.

If they want to tell a real story they shouldn't have hid it within a fake story which detracts from any kind of message

I think the mistake was assuming the general public would have the basic common sense to see what was true and what was not.
