Aerin has finally snapped.

I recruited Mjoll into the Blades and now that poor bastard Aerin just wanders around Riften all alone, carrying on conversations as if Mjoll was still with him.

That's what amazes me with the open world game. You never how your actions will effect others in the game.

Is he someone who can be killed because I've tried to kill some characters and some just end up in rest mode until their health restores.

Maybe you should just sneak into Aerin's house while he's sleeping and put him out of his misery. I'm sure Mjoll would understand. Not that she would need to know.

if you marry Mjoll, he will sometimes hang around at your house, it's kinda creepy.

but yes, you can indeed kill him, i have a couple times.

I never joined the Blades in 5 previous characters. But my newest character I created for the SE... I finally did.

And I recruited Mjoll into the Blades. And Aerin, just follows her around. He's with her at Sky Haven Temple, when we get done killing a dragon he shows up and hangs out with her standing around the dragon skeleton... He just keeps following her unless I assign her as a follower, then he heads back to Riften.
