I do not hate the game but i hope ME 3 is not this much of a disappointment.
shareI agree with alot of what he said (and with the general sentiment that DA2 is a way worse game than Origins on almost every level), but the fact that he claimed that he played the game on Nightmare and never had to pause clearly discredits him somewhat.
On nightmare if you just let your characters fight without pausing and assigning tasks YOU WILL DIE. The AI isn't very smart so left to their own devices your party members will just randomly attack enemies like retards and get owned.
Say what you will about Dragon Age 2, the one good thing about it is that it's definitely much harder than Origins. In Origins you could breeze through the game on Nightmare provided that you just filled your party with Mages (who were severely overpowered as a class), but DA2 nerfs Mages significantly and battles move faster which makes the game much harder and basically demands that you use some sort of strategy to win.
I can't speak to other difficulties, though. I've only ever played Nightmare.
