Hawkes' cousin???

Rather than just play through an entire game again, i thought I'd ask here, in case anyone knows...

Does having the Hero of Ferelden be Hawke's cousin; Ie, the human mage named Amell, make any difference to the story? I realise there's not going to be an appearance or whatever, but is it mentioned at any point???
