I liked that Jordan did not hook up with the trouble maker "bad boy that actually has a heart of gold." That is such a boring cliche, and the geeky kid was more than a one dimensional character. The best thing this movie had going for it was the cool character development. The down sides of this movie were the red herring dead ends that were left unanswered.

Agreed on the overall character development as well. I liked the twins, their father (who managed to get across an awful lot in his brief appearance), Jordan... basically everyone except Jordan's foster parents, the rapey kid and his father, and of course The Worst Shrink in History. I think I hated the psychiatrist even more than the killers! But everybody was really well developed. I felt like I knew who they were.

I think it was promoting a false reality. Betas don't get girls like that.
