Able is not dead

While it might appear he was killed in season 1, I would put money down if season 2 had gone ahead we would have most assuredly seen him reappear. We know that he is not who he seems on the surface, and is as skilled as Tron is in combat, and probably more intelligent. He has shown to have a knack for building and repairing large military crafts, with also constructing the prison built for Cyrus. The apparent death he had would be an easy cover for him to go undercover and go deeper into Clu's operations to gain intel for Tron, or possibly hunt down Cyrus before he did further damage since he escaped as well.
