Critics wrong

I admit the critics kept me from driving all the way to Burbank to see this movie during its limited release.
I eventually ended up watching the DVD and found it remarkably good, far better than I expected. I gave an 8 of 10.
The movie was very well cast and has a lot going for it. I enjoyed it quite a lot. I can only wonder that so many critics failing to connect with the movie must have been older straight males with less capacity to take a sympathetic position towards the story.

I am not sure what you watched, but I was hoping so much that this was going to be a good movie. I found it boring and that is even after I was in the Navy and thought this will be interesting. Nope.....hated it. Oh and I love Rob Mayes so again thought it would be good. Glad you liked it though.
