Yeah penn said he didnt really influence her it was a trick but i dont get the trick

So I think the bit about being prepared meant he had paper with all options written out in different pockets sort of thing - 16 options so plausible 2*2*2*2

Amateur magician here. I believe the ring would be a classic way of doing the trick, but in this case was a misdirection. Here are some thoughts which might be helpful:

1. The size of the coin is probably significant in this case.
2. The specific method used here is probably not something that would have been available until more recent times. I.e., not magnetism.
3. If you look, you may notice a recurring relationship with his sleave and the audience member's hands. He did that a lot more smoothly than others, from what I've seen on youtube.
