The Evasons
Their performance seems to be a copy of The Clairvoyants on America's Got Talent. I really wish I could figure out how they do it but Penn's description was too vague for me. Possibly some form of old technology involved?

shareI think The Clairvoyants are a copy of them. And I believe they use a lot of cue words. Very impressive.
shareExcept that h really didn't hardly talk at all once an object was selected and didn't know the answer himself when it came to the significance of the object. The only way I could see that working was if the audience members ere plants. He did choose them himself. But that seems to simple a gimick for Penn to be so gushy.
"Where you headed?"
"Nowhere special."
"Nowhere special. Always wanted to go there."
No technology involved. What the Evasons did was the result of months or even years of practice, it's their own code. Two-person mentalism code acts are as old as stage magic itself, but I've never seen anyone do it as well as they do. Until you try it, you can't imagine how much practice it takes to be able to come up with the proper code on the spot or decipher it on the spot.
I'll give you an example of how it's done by illustrating a simpler trick. An old college buddy of mine used to do this card trick where he would be blindfolded (reliably so, no see-through or bottom peek involved), everyone present in the dorm or at a party was told to pick a card (no trickery involved, completely free choice in a manner of their own choosing), and while my blindfolded comrade sat facing a corner with no use of sight, he would correctly name every card.
How it was done was through a lot of practice with me on a code we spent a couple days working out. First, if I started any turn with with "Okay," it was a diamond. If I started with "Now," it was a club. "All right" meant heart, and "So" meant a spade. Then we had a series of phrases following the suit indicators which indicated the value of the card. I won't bother you with the whole code, but as an example, "Okay, we'll start with Lena. Can you tell her what her card is?" (or, if Lena isn't first up, "Okay, we'll go to Lena. Can you tell her what her card is?") meant the queen of diamonds. "Now we have Alex, what's his card?" meant the six of clubs. Each value variation had two versions to avoid repetition, when a secondary variation was to be used I'd clear my throat a certain way to indicate that, and the word "Ready?" meant "ignore everything else I'm going to say or have said, it's an ace."
Whatever their code is, it's a hell of a sophisticated one. To do what they do, you need a hell of a lot more than the basic code variations like my friend and I worked out. With theirs, it's not just words that count - it's inflection, it's time between key words, etc. Ours was rudimentary, theirs is incredible, and the ease with which they use it is jaw-dropping. If you watch a few of their videos you can work out a few things here and there, but I've seen a ton of these acts and I've never seen better than those two. They've developed a code which spans an entire sophisticated shorthand so as to be able to signal objects, colors and whatever else with minimal phrasing. I knew exactly what was going on and still couldn't believe they were that good. I mean, a guitar pick? Come on.
The Evasons are supreme coders. They have elevated the art to a higher level and, unlike The Clairvoyants, no electronics are required. Simply marvelous.'

Proof Clairvoyants use electronics?
I'm not asking about other mentalists.
Probably plants. And considering he was the 4th person picked( rehearsed) the lady remembered that the fourth was a Male- watch- from non- name is Cash. It's all smoke and mirrors. It's a shame that this type of stuff is being used to scam people.
shareProbably plantsP&T make a big thing that plants, stooges, and pre-show work are against the rules, so unless they bent the rules for this act, it would seem not.
If they tell you "plants" are against the rules then of course there will be people who are plants. And if some of you BELIEVE that this couple have "powers" then I got a bridge I want to sell ya!
shareWell I won't spoil anything but I know exactly how they did it and it doesn't involve a single plant.
