If you're wondering about the discrepancy between the rating + reviews

As of Feb 2013 there were just 2 positive reviews, 1 bad and only a 4.8 score. rgblakey's review reflects the low score. A lot of action, some of it inspired, the Gobi is a dramatic backdrop, but it is a hard movie to get into. The low score suggests perhaps a common reaction: this is the kind of movie you go into expecting something decent and yet it doesn't get there and then it becomes too drawn out and you do get to a point of not caring.

But it is unique in some ways, so worth it as a Netflix stream if you like to watch different kinds of Asian action. Not a Friday / Saturday night sit down and have a good time eating while watching a flick. More of a Tuesday night, got nothing better to do, kind of viewing experience...
