I had totally forgotten that Downey jr. almost OD'd his career and that Tim Allen wasn't an A-lister like Tom Hanks. Thank God I had Gervais there with his keen comedic insight to point out the obvious.

It's not like the Golden Globes is always a self-deprecating circlejerk filled with "Celebs are pampered phonies" jabs like the one Fallon and January Jones attempted.
