There's a reason why this premiered on HDNET...

I'm just happy I didn't pay to see this on Blu-ray or in theaters. Samuel L. Jackson is the ONLY thing that made this movie worth sitting through.

Luke Wilson should go back to doing cell phone advertisements after this atrocity. The script seemed like it was written by a liberal arts dropout. Was this a black comedy? A drama? The dialogue was so forced and out of place that I couldn't help but find it amusing. Samuel L. Jackson understood that this was a black comedy. The problem is, no one else did. The music was also on par with a Full Moon movie. Out of place and inappropriate at times.

In addition to this, was it a joke that Luke Wilson's daughter was hispanic? Was his daughter the illegitimate baby of the pool boy? Or did they just not care.

Meeting Evil is only a step above Lakeview Terrace because of the absurd dialogue and ridiculous murder. It actually came off as someone's directorial/screen writing debut. I guess I shouldn't expect something good from the guy who made S. Darko.

I just hope Samuel L. Jackson got his paper!
