yes it was slightly over the top but that was intended , open your mind , secondly the film was mysterious which conceals the duality of OW and SLJ , like TLJ and JB in NCFOM , i hv followed his career since its inception, he is a solid writer w/ artistic vision , he is young and brilliant director , as he ages so will the complexity of his film and his direction and the budget of his films , his films will not be your grandmas films .

I really wanted to buy but sadly it's not available on bluray.
I'll just have to watch it in HD on Netflix instant watch.
SLJ was at his best as the friendly psycopath.

This was a stupid movie. It was over the top and all over the place. I was in the mood for a dumb-assed movie that's all over the place and over the top so I enjoyed it from beginning to the end.
Every implausible incident and decision made me laugh and who can't enjoy Samuel L. Jackson chewing up the screen while killing people? It reminded me of the overwrought thrillers of the early 80's that never amounted to much but left you entertained. Lol
It's OK to relax and have a good time every once in a while.
