I hated Linus in this one.

Linus was really mean and pathetic. Instead of the cool sophisicated character we've known and love, he was mean. I hated what he said to Charlie Brown. This whole show was a disapointment.

Dude! I was about to post the same thing!
I dunno why this special got such a high score, Linus was nothing like how he should be,
the real Linus would NEVER put down his friend like that!

If there be a god...than hide from him our most evil enterprise!

Hey all,
Yes I know Im probably taking the plot of a kids cartoon too seriously with the following remarks. But I have to pretty much agree with the comments of previous two posts. Linus had decent points with his criticizism of the others who demanded he part with his blanket. But he saved his worst comment for the friend who deserved it least; the person who stuck by and even sat with him for the night he went without his big blue pacifier. And he didn't even apologize for the remark. Yes Charlie Brown definately has problems of his own. But he faces them head on day in and out WITHOUT the need of a blanket. Such persistance is what arguably makes him the most admirable of the Peanuts gang. I think if another film is done, Linus needs to say or do something to make up for the uncharisticly cruel remark he made towards his very best friend.

To each his or her own but this is my favorite Peanuts episode other than Great Pumpkin and the Christmas special. *shrug*

If anybody was hateful, if was regular Patty, Violet, and Lucy. Three mean bi*ches and really they not just picked on good ole Charlie Brown, Linus, and Pig-Pen. At least Charlie Brown apologized over the way Pig Pen was mistreated. And that he in a sense, knew where Linus IMHO, was coming from.
