He's just not very bright, is he?

I've been tolerating him in the past if the guest was an intelligent and interesting person, but that stopped today with his insulting "interview" with Jesse Ventura. When confronted with actual long-term research, first-hand experience with some of the issues and thoughtful analysis, all Piers could do was stoop to attempted ridicule and name-calling. That's not journalism, it's not informative, it's not even entertaining, it's just irritating and disrespectful to the guest and the viewers alike.

Now I can't help seeing Piers as a light-weight who's really not up to the challenge of dealing with any kind of serious issues. Maybe if there are enough people who want to watch him chat with the Kardashians, his show will survive, but after what I saw today, I won't be watching.
