I'll help you better understand Japanese culture.

I am not approving of Imperial Japan's or Watanabe's actions but in the eyes of them what they where doing was not as horrible as Americans see it. What I mean is that in the Japanese culture it is seen as rude to show pain or discomfort if you are given a punishment you deserve. Especially if you are a man. You would be seen as selfish and cowardly. This is why suicide is such a big issue in Japan. They believe that if you deserve to die and don't commit suicide then you are a selfish coward. This is also why Yakuza members cut off their own fingers as form of punishments.

Yeah, Hitler thought his actions were justifiable, too.

Difference was Hitler was 100% right about Zionism in Mein Kampf. It had infected everything and a world bank was being created by the Rothschilds. Thing is his officers screwed up the way to stop Zionism and Zionist Bolsheviks from spreading.

But he was originally 100% correct when he wrote his book, but totally screwed everything up and destroyed his movement from wrong way of weeding out Zionism

reply

Ehronn, you are a fascist moron. Zionism is evil because of its similarities to any ethnic nationalism such as Nazism, UstaĊĦa, Angkar et cetera no other reason. Hitler's "zionism" however was anything connected to Judaism, Jews, Slavs and Socialism (particularly Marxism).

Also you can't even be a Zionist and a Bolshevik. Moron.

reply

There are Zionist Bolsheviks

There was even a conspiracy theory based on them

I'm sure during wartime atrocities are committed by both sides. I'm sure Americans did things that they wouldn't want us, its citizens to know about.

Your link calls your claim a hoax.

In short, they don't expect you to be human. Which is why they don't treat others like they're humans. There's nothing in the slightest honorable about that.

You can understand the evil that Imperial Japan inflicted on the world, it's roots and causes. But that doesn't make what Imperial Japan did any less evil. Excusing it to ANY degree is just another way of perpetuating the possibility of it happening again.

I am happy that the sane element of the Japanese character has been dominant in Japan for the last 70 years. That side of Japanese culture I deeply respect. But the Japanese must never forget what they were capable of. Just as none of us must ever ignore what WE are capable of.

The Nips and the Nazis took notes from each other. The police states created in each country were very similar.

My 12 year old mother and her younger brothers and sisters who lived in Tokyo in 1945 thank you for your kind intentions of wishing to kill them all down to the baby in the family.

One of my friends emigrated to the U.S. from the Philippines many years ago. He told of me of when the American forces were nearing the capital city of Manila, the Japanese slaughtered nearly 100,000 men, women and children there.

To this day, my friend informed me, there are many people in the Philippines who would like nothing better than to get their hands on the truly evil and barbaric Japanese soldiers (no doubt, just like "The Bird" in "Unbroken").

The book "The Rape of Nanking" also details the unbelievable savagery and brutality of the Japanese soldiers, where Chinese non-combatants were used for bayonet practice while they were still alive and tied to a post. Even the German Storm Troopers did not commit such atrocities against the people of Nazi occupied Europe.

Maybe some day, the Japanese, like the Germans, will sincerely admit and apologize for the unspeakable acts of barbarity their soldiers committed against the innocent peoples of China, the Philippines, Korea, Indonesia and so many other Asian nations during World War II, but don't hold your breath waiting for these truly inscrutable and callous people to do so.

The Japanese followed the proper code of behavior during WWI AFA prisoners and their exchange. The reason they changed during WWII is they adopted the Code of Bushido. There was a General or an Admiral who demanded this. It's been a while since college and I've forgotten his name. He was homosexual at a time it was absolutely forbidden to be so he expressed his sexuality in brutality.

The worst possible thing in Japanese society is embarrassment or shame. That's the reason they hide their emotions.
