The humour is really crazy. Crazy good. The characters shape up to be cool and quirky and generally it has promise. Shame it won't make it!

This show was getting trashed before it even aired. Perhaps it's not as broad as "Modern Family", or as wacky and surreal as "Community", and maybe that's the problem, but it's not that bad. I see it as a slow burner, so I hope it gets enough of a following to secure a second season at least.

shareActually i was a bit sceptic with the first episode, since the part with the car-phone was directly riped from 'Til Death, and we know who that went unfortinetly (I liked that show). And at first i feared it would containue, Hey what is a show if it don't have it's own material. But luckly it didn't and now i am glad that i stuck it out. Because it's really funny, but i still think it is about to get the boot.

DJ Nash was behind the scenes of both shows.
Sorry to burst one's bubble, but "traffic light" is a remake of an Israeli show and the car-phone bit was taken directly from the original.
That out of the way, the original is much funnier, for us Hebrew speakers anyway
The network should stick with it -- as NBC did with "The Office."

shareI think the likes of Friends has killed a lot of comedy now.
Now, don't get me wrong. I loved (and still do) Friends but it seems execs have a hissy fit if a show isn't the next big thing right away and the doesn't subsequently sell merchandise at a rate that would outstrip the GNP of a good few countries.
I've only seen the first three episodes of this and it's a shame to know it's cancelled before I watch them all because there's some funny bits in it and it's quite clever at times too.
Guess everything can't be kept on but given some of the tripe that remains on screen...
