I didn't think it was that bad

I love Zelda and am a big fan of the games. So when I watched this, I knew I had to be very open minded.

And surprisingly I enjoyed it, even though some things did make me laugh at how ridicolous some things were (Zelda crying and breaking down was one of them). But when you look at the other things they did well such as the music, the fact that a lot of people were extras in Hyrule Market and captured the spirit of the town, some alright performances from Zelda and Saria (Link was a bit flat for me) it was alright.

The montage they did in this might be questionable but there is no way they could explore in great detail all the temples. That would take forever and to be honest would probably get boring if it was done like that.

So I say just be open minded to this because I highly doubt if any of us were to make this we could make a very good adaptation too.

i totally agree, what can u expect from a fan made independent film, it was true to the game.

Good to hear someone agrees - the film was enjoyable if you look at what they did well rather than pinpoint everything they could have improved on.

Plus I loved the soundtrack - it captured the essence of Zelda and also did the original tunes justice.

I also recommend watching 'Sage of Darkness' - another fan made film - this one is probably the best fan made Zelda film made and I was highly impressed with the original storylines they put in. Also can be found on youtube (and in my opinion, better than the Hero of Time)

I don't think this is a movie you hate, I mean sure its not really all that great, but you have to appreciate the ambition. It is clear that the cast and crew are big Zelda fans and they were just having fun.
