Seems a little dark
This is one of my favorite books, and while it's pretty dark, there's some hope in there too. The trailer looked absolutely brutal and dismal.
"He gave me hope when hope was gone, He gave me strength to journey on!"
Pretty dark. Became almost predictable. While watching whatever was happening on screen I asked myself "What's the worst that could happen here?" Then it usually did.
