Pretty good film overall, but jeez Tim Blake Nelson. I'm glad you got so deep into character, but whaaaaa?

Pretty good for having no teeth.

Your right thou', haha.
I definitely had to rewind a few times but I understood it better then anything I've seen with a heavy Irish accent.

I used subtitles on the DVD rental. Had to after listening to "Anse" for about 80 seconds. It worked.

Yep - I had to use subtitles too, though he never really says anything meaningful anyway.

I think that Nelson was over the top. His version of Anse was more like a parody for a comedy skit than a believable take on the character.

I turned on the subtitles straight away. I did understand the meaning of the words, I guess having read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer as a kid helped. The family had a limited vocabulary.

"Well, if the bridge was up then we could go on and cross it." Hilarious.

Great movie.
