Holy crap what a steaming crappy pile of artsy crap

Franco needs to stick to comedy, so does Tim Blake Nelson. His character was straight out of a cartoon. This movie was like The Thin Red Line on sleeping pills, directed by a 5th grade poet, from a book I will never read, but seems like it would make an excellent pillow.

personally, I couldn't get past 30 minutes of it cause the split screen was driving me nuts. Usually I like these types of films (e.g. Meeks Cutoff) but the split screen thing is always just way too distracting for me and to be used this much was a huge fail. It could have been great, I think, but I do understand what you mean here.

so it's just like the book then.

Agreed. Absolutely steaming pile of rubbish. Split screen was ridiculous, couldn't understand what they were saying, had to turn it off before the end. Awful
