her favorite Christmas song...

she says it is called "Gloria" then sings a song I have known my whole life to be called "angels we have heard on high." it's been listed in every hymnal as such- that I've ever seen anyway. anyone have any insight on this? not a big deal; I'm honestly just curious. thanks!

I think it was to illustrate that not only did she not have have a favorite and she didn't even know the name of an actual Christmas song so she just threw out a lyric.

It is also called "Gloria in excelsis deo," which is the chorus of the song.

Michael W Smith's version is called Gloria. It's one of my favorites too.
