The second half provides a huge payoff for the audience . .
The lead actress in this movie, Bonnie Somerville, was beautiful and lovely but she had to play a scatterbrained foolish person in the first half. It was very hard to sit through the first half but, you like the male lead, Jordan Bridges, so much that you are willing to stay with the movie. The second half provides a huge payoff for the audience with some brilliant screen writing and well done execution. The lead actress character played by Bonnie, Hillary Burns, becomes more likable as she finds herself and becomes open and honest with her parents and siblings. Buy the end of this film, I become convinced that this is one of the better Hallmark TV movies.
Kudos to the actress, Shelley Long, that played the mother in this movie. She was really good.
