Interesting ... although ...

I'm about the last person to believe in global conspiracies and having witnessed too many times first hand in debates the logical impairment of some conspiracy nuts who no doubt harm the greater cause of objectively exploring unexplained phenomenon.

I do agree, however, there does seem to be a real effort to discredit and belittle anyone of stature to even researching these phenomenon, which is rather bizarre unless taken within the context of the reasons put forth by this piece.

Yet one of the ideas put forth here is that "the day of disclosure" is coming and shall be here soon. I thought that was overly optimistic. As discussed in this piece, the control of information through choke points in the mainstream mass media has been very effective in affecting an embargo upon truth and discrediting any real or legitimate research or even discussion into UFO phenomenon I honestly don't see that embargo ending anytime soon.

One of the researchers mentions how government disclosure of these phenomenon would begin to be revealed piecemeal by all governments of the world. I certainly don't see that happening, or if it does happen, how it won't be again systematically discredited by the strong anti-intellectual anti-UFO strain that appears strongly entrenched within worldwide media and scientific communities. Assuming that at least some of the theories present here are accurate, and that there has been wide scale contact over the course of human existence that has been so successfully covered up and officially "discredited", it would seem the only way true "disclosure" could occur would be some sort of global announcement which just doesn't seem likely given the primitive and destructive preoccupations of the human race at this early stage of evolution.
