ok my grammar and english is terrible im not gonna lie, but i just wanted to ask if anyone new if the open line of each episode when john hurt says ...
"Only one creature has carved a life for itself in every habitat on Earth. That creature is us."
that doesnt sound correct, creature is singular, but us is plural right? should it not be "only one species of creature...and THOSE creature are us."

THOSE is plural so you can't put it in front of CREATURE which is singular.
You have to say either THOSE CREATURES or THAT CREATURE.
As for mixing "us" and "creature", I see your point.
I think that "us" as a multitude of humans belong to a single species.
A creature, like a species, or a team, or a class at school, is a single thing that contains a plurality of members.... "us".
