...i would sue this show. all the terrible word play and lame filler content belittles the death of the victim.

Ditto! One of the most insensitive shows on ID.Especially with the carefree background music & cutaways to the cops on their time off.
Also, ID & other networks seem to be making up new shows to cover the same murders over & over again.Some of these killers have 4,5 or more shows about them.I guess it takes a lot less effort to make a new show that's 100% based on a rerun.

They go from "The victim's mother buries her son, with the case going cold she's losing hope that the killer will ever be caught" to "While waiting for the DNA results to come in, Detective Whatshisface enjoys a round of golf to clear his mind."
Who the hell thought this was a good idea to add into a true crime show?
There is always so much weirdness with these shows. The actors doing the reinactments will obviously not look exactly like the people but good god, most of the time they look NOTHING like the people. It's that and the things that were mentioned above, as well as the creepy voice overs of the dead on "Stolen voices, burried secrets" that just seem SO wrong, that cause me to get a giggle out of these shows which seems even MORE wrong LOL
On a sidenote, on the other end of the spectrum as far as reinactment actors goes, I read that Lee Cutler's mom from Disappeared said the actor who portrayed her son looked SO much like him that she had to keep herself from running up to him and holding him. How sad is that? :( Poor woman.
"Disappeared" was a good show and I wish they hadn't ended it.
I saw the episode that featured Lee Cutler. I hope he is found alive. I can't imagine what his mother is going through.
