Toback hasn't written a good movie since Bugsy
This will be BAD. His movies lately haven't just been bad, they've been terrible. I have no faith in this movie unfortunately.

A little story about this guy that happened in the 1980's he was in the Cafe Central when it was on Amsterdam Ave.
Joe Pesci was there sitting with some kind of mob guy. Toback was drunk and said something to the Mob guy that he considered an insult. So the Mob guy left Pesci followed him out. He tried to calm him down the guy was so mad he wanted to kill this guy himself with a knife when he came out. He could have had one of the guys that worked for him do it later.
Then Pesci made a joke, and they left for another place.
Evidently later he calmed down and moved on.
True story heard it from Pesci and others.
