This movie is DOOMED if it even gets made at all.

Look at the writer, a terrible B-movie character actor who has only written two other things. The director, who is a bad actor turned director who only has made a few mediocre chick flicks, and the "producer", who has never been heard of in Hollywood and has no experience at all.

Heard the suits behind this are close to tapping Barry Levinson(Rain Man,Bugsy,
Wag the Dog)to take the helm.....guess he'll question the casting of Lohan in
this since he's a director in the same league as Spielberg & Scorsese, folks who at
this point won't go anywhere near Lindsay given her questionable behavior, legal
troubles and issues of insuring her!!

Wonder how will this shapes up????

Surely they'll change the title won't they? I mean "Gotti: Three Generations" sounds like a made for TV movie. Bleh.

Who is the director supposed to be for this I didn't see it on the main page?

Above all else (for me at least), when I learned that John Travolta was being cast as the part for Gotti, I absolutely knew this movie was doomed. Since the tragic loss of his son it is very obvious he has lost his ability to act with the same conviction he was once known for.

I think this movie can do one of two things.

1) Be absolutely great - highly doubtful...

or

2) Be absolutely awful - most likely the case in my opinion.

There will be no in between, with some liking it and some not. But, then again, I don't have a time machine and can not tell the future, so we shall see.

........or released. I think it's Junior Gotti's ultimate mob joke.

The scheme is that first you put up a nobody producer who is Teflon for when things go bad. Then you promise a lot of money to established Hollywood types like Travolta, Pacino and Levinson.

Their vulnerabilities are obvious. While Travolta can act sometimes, let's face it -- he ain't one of the world's great intellects and has always succumbed to bad business advice. Plus he's addicted to expensive hobbies like big mansions, buying/flying jets and giving money to the Scientologists. Then there's Pacino. They say he's still a good stage actor, but Pacino's been a paycheck whore in movies at least since "Scent of a Woman." He needs the $$$ to fund his stage career and lifestyle. I know little about Levinson, but it must be at least 15 years since his last successful movie.

If Lindsay Lohan is still in this monstrosity, what can be said about that that isn't already obvious?

Once you announce the big names, you keep fueling the hype with all kinds of grand pronouncements, like there's a $450 million budget! Really? From whom?

Then, when put up or shut up time comes, all kinds of "Creative Differences" arise, the stars can't get their money and the whole thing falls apart. Or becomes something much smaller, like the Armand Assante movie.

Meanwhile, the investors get screwed. OK, so some of them were taking tax write-offs or maybe they're in Junior Gotti's former line of work, but someone get ye old shaft. And someone else pockets the proceeds. Wanna take a guess on who that might be?

Lol i doubt this movie is ever going to be made and btw PACINO IS THE BEST ACTOR THAT HAS EVER LIVEDD!! But you are right this movie is gonna be a fail nd u cant blame pacino. Hes acted his best, which is amazing btw. However, the writers and plots really havent been good.Just bad movies not bad acting.

You sound like a paranoid lunatic.

I have nothing to be paranoid about. And I could be 100% wrong. But if my predictions turn out to be true, it'll make for all kinds of great stories. Also, it's Feb. 26th and this movie is still in pre-production. If that kind of talent were behind it and there's real money, they'd be making it already.
